Car Rental In the Garage Trash & Recycling Medical Emergency Numbers

Momple — Car Rental

MAÓ (MAHON) AIRPORT

Car pick up

Momple will message you prior to landing where they will be waiting upon arrival. It will be specific bay area near where you exit the airport.

If your flight to Mahon is delayed, message them and inform them of your expected arrival.

They will have your car there and will handle the paperwork. Their car rental rate includes fully comprehensive insurance (nothing to add).

Also, make sure you tell them who will be driving the vehicle and they will ask for the drivers licenses to take down the details.

Car return

When picking up the car, the Momple rep will tell you where to leave the car when you leave. It will probably be in the area where you picked up the car.

Simply park the car there, put the key and the parking lot entrance ticket in the visor, and leave the car.

Grocery Bags

Grocery stores here don't provide bags. We keep some reusable ones and straw bags (for the beach, etc.) in the garage — feel free to use those.

Please put them back in the garage before you leave.

Binoculars

There are a couple of pairs of binoculars that are hanging on the back of the interior door in the garage. Feel free to use them to enjoy the view from the balcony.

Plug Adapters

US-to-Euro adapters are in a plastic container in the garage — help yourself.

Bluetooth Speakers

A couple of portable speakers are available if you'd like to use them.

They'll probably need a charge — a standard USB-C cable will work. Please put them back in the garage before you leave.

Sonos

There is a Sonos speaker in the living/dining area. If you're connected to the wifi, AirPlay should automatically recognise it.

Trash & Recycling

Please separate recyclables from regular trash

Regular Trash

Use the communal trash can across the street. These get picked up every weekday.

Recyclables

Recycling receptacles are located at either end of the street.

Tip: One is a large on the opposite side of the street (where there is a small parking lot) from the Kit-Kat Bar.

Medical & Urgent Care

Juaneda Medical Care — Son Bou

An urgent care facility just by the villa, near the bakery. Takes walk-ins. Very clean and helpful.

Additional tip

We typically buy travel insurance for the length of our stay. We've been using BCBS Global Solutions and have used it for reimbursement of medical costs last year from treatment and X-rays at this Urgent Care and the hospital — the refund was pretty quick.

But hope it's never needed!
